These Terms of Service govern your use of Ludica, a BJJ technique tracking application operated by Timothy Vargas ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Ludica.
Ludica is a tool for Brazilian jiu-jitsu practitioners to organize technique references, log training sessions, and track progress over time. The app aggregates links to content hosted on third-party platforms (YouTube, Instagram, and others). We do not host video content — we link to it.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Ludica. By using the app, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these terms.
You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for all activity that occurs under it. You must provide accurate information when creating your account. Notify us at support@getludica.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
You agree not to:
Content you create in Ludica — training notes, technique names, personal annotations — belongs to you. By storing it in Ludica, you grant us a limited license to store and display it to you within the app. We do not claim ownership of your content and do not share it with other users.
The Browse feed contains links to videos and content hosted on YouTube, Instagram, and other platforms. We do not control, endorse, or take responsibility for third-party content. Accessing third-party content is subject to the terms and policies of those platforms.
If you believe any content linked in Ludica infringes your rights, contact us at support@getludica.com and we will review it.
The Ludica name, logo, design, and app code are our property. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of Ludica without our written permission.
Ludica is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Use the app at your own risk.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Ludica, including but not limited to loss of data or loss of training progress. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the app shall not exceed $100.
We may suspend or terminate your access to Ludica at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these terms. You may stop using Ludica at any time. To delete your account, email support@getludica.com.
We may update these terms from time to time. We will update the date at the top of this page when we do. Continued use of Ludica after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of Ludica will be resolved in the courts of New Jersey.
